Private Patient Ambulance Services

In today’s changing health service, the number of private patients is increasing due to demands on our NHS.

Medi 4 is committed to providing a flexible, patient-centred 24/7 365 ambulance service to those client’s, giving value for money and excellent prompt service.

Medi 4 is able to provide a private patient centred service for people who are unable to use NHS, public or other transport due to their medical condition, including those:

  • Attending private appointments, hospital outpatient clinics, physiotherapy appointments, care home transfer and long distance repatriation of patients
  • being admitted to or discharged from private & NHS hospitals
  • needing regular life-saving treatments such as chemotherapy or renal dialysis where transport must be on time every time
  • who are injured away from home and require to be repatriated to a more local and convenient healthcare facility.

Our ambulance service provides much needed support to patients, and their families or carers.  We plan journeys, answer questions, liaise with hospitals and departments to ensure the ambulance transport is a flawless part of the healthcare experience.  This is an extremely important part of our service.

Our extensive fleet of ambulances and wheelchair accessible cars are equipped to a high specification. All vehicles are tracked and have on board CCTV.  Vehicles are tailored to meet the needs of individual patients, including USB charging points for charging patient’s mobile devices, state of the art monitoring equipment and powered stretchers with memory foam mattresses for comfort.

We are proud to offer a personal service, making every effort to get to know our patients and understand their needs. Our aim is to be punctual, reliable, friendly and dependable, transforming patient journeys into smooth, enjoyable experiences with a dignified door to door service.

Our service is customised to suit your needs as we believe requirements differ between patients, time of day, geographical area and the needs of the individual patient being transported.

“Wow truly amazing service from two lovely girls, extremely professional and looked after my nanny so well”. Thank you so much.”
