Please note that no previous experience is required for the Ambulance Care Assistant role.   The Medi 4 training program will guide you through our Skills for Health e-learning and practical manual handling and first aid courses. We have successfully trained several hundred Ambulance Care Assistants and pride ourselves on offering a high standard of practical training, along with ongoing support and continued personal development.

Requirements for ALL Driving Roles

If you are applying for a role as an Ambulance Care Assistant, Qualified Emergency Care Assistant, Qualified Emergency Technician or Qualified Paramedic, or for a role working in Medi 4 Logistics we will require you to drive a Medi 4 ambulance. In order for you to drive a Medi 4 Ambulance, we need you to meet the following criteria:

• You must be over 21 years of age
• You must have at least two years driving experience, a manual licence (an automatic licence is not acceptable for driving roles) and no more than three points on your driving licence
• Your eyesight must meet DVLA requirements? We will require you to provide an up-to-date eyesight test

If you don’t meet these criteria, please don’t apply for a driving role with Medi 4 as your application will be rejected.
