Medi 4 provide transport for people who are unable to use public or other transport due to their medical condition, including those:

  • attending doctor’s appointments, hospital outpatient clinics, physiotherapy appointments, care homes and repatriation
  • being admitted to or discharged from hospital wards
  • needing life-saving treatments such as chemotherapy or renal dialysis who walk but need assistance, are stretcher bound or use a wheelchair.

Our Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service (NEPTS) provides much needed support to patients and their carers, an extremely important part of our service.

Our extensive fleet of ambulances and wheelchair accessible cars are equipped to a high specification; fully tracked flooring in our ambulances allows for flexible changes in interior configuration. All vehicles are tailored to meet the needs of individual patients, including USB charging points for charging patient’s mobile devices.

We are proud to offer a personal service, making every effort to get to know our patients and understand their needs. Our aim is to be punctual, reliable, friendly and dependable, transforming patient journeys into smooth, enjoyable experiences with a door to door service.

Our service is customised to suit your needs, as we believe requirements differ between organisations, time of day, geographical area and types of patients transported.

“The crew were very professional & put me at ease during the journey. It was a pleasure travelling with Medi 4 today. Thank you.”

Our dedicated staff understand the importance of an efficient service, whether it is to provide specialist renal patient transportation or a safe and dignified service to our bariatric customers, as well as delivering out of hours discharge services to acute hospitals, care homes and Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs).
